The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has opened a new branch in Changsha, China, as part of its strategic efforts to strengthen trade and investment ties between the two nations. This milestone is aimed at promoting Kenyan products and services in the Chinese market, creating business partnerships, and fostering collaboration in various sectors. The CEO of KNCCI, Patrick Nyangweso, emphasized that this move would make it easier for Kenyan businesses to access the vast Chinese market and provide mechanisms to protect investments through arbitration. This expansion aligns with Kenya’s broader trade ambitions, including further office openings in Guangdong and other strategic regions like Sharjah and Ghana.
